Is anyone using a laser to engrave their work or cut out patterns?  I'd like to know more about them.  Are there any you would recommend?  How steep is the learning curve for programming?  Are project shapes and dimensions limited?  i.e. Could one be used to "sign" a chair or odd shaped item?
