Overview

The Guild helps families to sell or donate tools, equipment and supplies from a woodworker’s estate.  We also assist woodworkers who are retiring and looking to declutter and downsize their shop.

Woodshop contents can be complicated.  It is challenging to understand the functions and values of specialized tools, various accessories, antique tools, exotic woods, and other items. We have an experienced team of woodworkers who help estates address these concerns.

Options

There are multiple ways to manage tools and material from a woodworker’s shop:

• Hire a for-profit company to run an estate sale or auction.
• Dispose of and/or sell items yourself.
• Donate items to the Guild or another non-profit organization.
• Hire the Guild to run an estate sale.
