Cash DonationsThe Guild is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on sharing experience, broadening woodworking education and community service. The majority of Guild revenue comes from membership dues, with a smaller portion from our classes, estate sales, and product sales. The Guild's budget is set to run at slightly above break-even. Generous donations over the years have enabled the Guild to meet our goals, expand our activities, help us offer scholarships for classes and shop time, provide some free memberships for those in need and support our community service work.Tool DonationsThe Guild can also accept donations of certain wood related tools. These may be used within the Guild or more likely will be sold at an estate sale and revenues used for Guild operations. Detailed information about the Guild's Estate Program is HERE and to contact the program lead by email, click HERE All donors will receive a thank-you letter for tax purposes. Employer Matching Funds Donations Many employers such as Nike and Intel will donate matching funds, in essence doubling (or more) your contribution. Check with your employer to see if they have a matching funds program. If they need the Guild's tax id, it is 93-1129694. |
