I have a 1957 Powermatic 60 jointer that I have restored - it has gotten new bearings, a new 1.5hp Marathon motor and belts, and some wicked sharp T1-HSS blades. This 8" jointer has almost 64" of bed length, making it easy to flatten long boards for beds or other projects.
The cast iron is in great shape and the fence moves quite easily. The fence has positive stops for 90 and 45 degrees, and there is a rabbeting ledge on the outfeed table. I also believe this to be the very first serial number of the Powermatic 60 jointer line!
I also have an old set of blades that I'll throw in with this - they need to be sharpened, but nice to have a second set. The motor is currently wired for 120V operation and is super smooth. Also, check out that sweet art deco start switch.
This has been an awesome jointer for me, only selling because I ended up with a helical head unit. Now down to $900!
