I am a hobbyist and purchased this jointer new from Barbo Machinery in 2017. It has seen light use and has been very well maintained. It's a great piece of equipment, but I'm moving and would prefer to lighten the load. My shop is in Milwaukie/Clackamas area south of 224. You're welcome to test it out before purchasing. Jointer weighs 450 lbs, but it moves easily with the included mobile base. Given that a new unit (without mobile base) costs $2,250, this is a very good deal at $1,000 and the price is firm.
