I have 8 beautiful unique Chestnut Planks 2 inches thick by 14 to 16 inches wide and 114 inches long (9'-6") finished on two sides. Some may remember the Chestnut tree industry was wiped out in America a few years back by a blight so most of what you will find on the market today is 'recycled' chestnut lumber salvaged from demolished buildings. This tree somehow avoided the blight but succumbed to the wind many years ago. I milled it and air dried it to its current 12% moisture reading. These planks may be the only 'not recycled' American Chestnut lumber of this dimension you will find anywhere. The price is $10/per board foot. Contact info aloha@pacifier.com or 360-931-4979
