It's been years in the making but we are finally ready to move forward with a Special Interest Group (SIG) for Guild members interested in making musical instruments: the Lutherie SIG. Janet Starck has agreed to lead the group and a number of members have already signed up to be on the special mailing list. The first meeting will primarily be an organizational meeting, to learn more about who we are and what we would like to do, but it would be fun to start with a show and tell for inspiration, so you are welcome to bring in examples of instruments you have made. You should also think about topics for future sessions. Please contact Tim Moore if you have any questions.

The guild promotes and encourages all members to act responsibly in matters of health and safety by adhering to the following measures:
Staying Home When Sick: Members are urged to prioritize their health and the health of others by refraining from attending guild events, workshops, or gatherings when experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, especially those associated with COVID-19. Follow CDC guidelines: If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, you are expected to follow the current CDC guidelines.
