Traditional Wooden Clock Mentoring
Instructor: Dick Rohrbaugh
The next level of woodworking can only be learned by actual doing. To aid that, we will be offering a mentoring program for any who would like to build the traditional wall clock pictured below. It is not a beginner project, but is a good next step for those who are comfortable using the core machines in the shop, can purchase and mill their own wood, and would like to move up a level by building an heirloom that can grace any wall in your home. To determine interest and explore details, we will be holding a preview meeting. If you are interested in learning whether this would work for you, join us at 9 AM in the Studio shop on Wednesday, January 8. We will go over details of the project, potential time and cost involved, and explain the mentoring program and what it offers. A variety of hardwoods can be used for the clock project. Here are examples in cherry and walnut.
