Build a Tea Box
Instructors: Jim Meyer
Class Assistants: Box SIG Team
Prerequisite: Core Tool Certification
Maybe you don’t drink tea…or maybe you do! We have all heard of tea boxes and have seen amazing examples of these woodworking projects. Well, now you can make your own!
In this class, you’ll build a small box (about 6” x 3’ x 4’) start to finish. You’ll learn to cut accurate miter joints on the table saw using stop blocks and spacers for precision and repeatability; flush trim your top and bottom on a router; and create and install a wooden hinge. It's tea time.
Join us and take your own personal masterpiece home with you.
Materials will be provided.
Bring your PPE (hearing protection, eye protection, dust mask).
