Presenter: Tom McCloskey

August 23: We will be having a discussion and demonstration of the various joints available to construct a box, including miters, dovetails, butt, mechanical, half lap, floating tenon, birds mouth, dado, rabbet, finger, locking miter and others. Please bring your boxes and joinery tools for show and tell.  Following is a very timely discussion on joinery.

Interested in Boxes?  Beginners will get to know how to get started. 

Other box builders will see what else is possible. Master box builders will be able to appropriate some new techniques. 

Please bring your boxes to show to the rest of us. 

Please register so Tom has some idea on how many to expect. 

Afterwards those who wish to continue the conversation will walk up the street for some food & drink.
