Oregon White Oak
  • Oregon White oak plant table. My wife's best friend needed a bigger plant table so we came up with this, it's two slabs joined together for each shelf. I like how the legs go through the bottom shelf.
  • Most of the parts for the plant table before the mortise and tenons were cut
  • joining the top and shelf for the plant table, using a pattern and pattern bit so they fit nice and tight.
  • Antonia's plant table filled with her plants.
  • Oregon White oak and sequoia shelves ready to install in our cottage/finish room
  • The curved legs followed the curved grain of the slab
  • Finished shelves in the cottage, level and plum.
  • A table in the cottage made of Oregon White oak with a crotch slab for the legs, the top is two slabs joined together
  • Setting up the Garden Cottage with a live edge slab table. I use this space for finish work and sharpening. The cadet heater keeps it at just the correct temperature.
  • A living room end table made of tulip wood, there's a drawer on each end. I like the way the drawer front is cut out from it's frame. Has a Siberian elm man's valet box on it.
  • I wanted to work with some metal so I made this pipe wrench table with black locust. I had some brackets welded on to the wrenches under the table to hold them on. And a Holly live edge floating shelf
  • I built these shelves for the closet in the room that we use for our office. They are make from 3/4" maple plywood that I got at Lowes, it was $50 a sheet at that time. They are built in 3 sections
  • We needed a place to put the firewood so we came up with this. I also like to collect rocks!
