This unique board measures 7-3/4 inches wide by 7/8 inches thick by 17'-5" long (209 inches) and is finished on all 4 sides. This board has been in our family unused from 60 years ago from the wood boatbuilding days where Ironbark was used as the 'rub rail' protecting wood hulls from unplanned obstructions like docks. Ironbark is one of the very few woods that actually sinks in water. It is very dense and heavy yet still cuts cleanly with sharp tools. It is similar to Ironwood or Gray Ironwood from Australia but is much darker. At $12/bf it comes out to $120.
