The Raleigh Park School's Librarian has requested of the Guild help in building a bench for their library. This will be more of a more of a cabinet style of bench designed to match existing benches in the library and will have four pull out boxes for games.

Guild members who help will be working with power tools like the sliding table saw, router, and Festool Domino. The work parties will take place from 11:00 - 6:00 each Sunday starting the 24th  and will  be located  at Madrone Studio, 8900 B NE Vancouver Way Portland OR 97211.

The project was completed in December, 2016.  Here are a couple of photos.  The pull out drawers will hold games and are designed to be pulled out and used in the library, then put away in the bench when done.

The pullouts feature a dovetail spline at the mitered corners, and the whole bench is made of Maple. The finish is a sprayed lacquer. The people that worked on this project were, Katie White, Cheyenne Montalbin, Joshua Talbert, Crispin Anderson, and AlexanderAnderson
