The Guild Shop
contains a number of professional power tools, hand tools, work benches, an
assembly area and a Library. The Shop serves four main purposes;
monthly programs 3. Guild scheduled education classes
community projects 4. Use by Guild members with a Shop Users Card

- Beginners – Don’t have tools, space or budget? You can start your woodworking experience
using the Guild’s shop, tools and space.
Learn what tools to buy and how to use them.
- Intermediate Woodworkers – Want to upgrade your
tools, skills or need space for your next project? Many members will do the heavy power
tool work in the Guild’s shop and finish work at home. Or you may need an expensive specialized
tool or accessory that is hard to justify for one project.
- Professionals – Need access to professional grade tools? The specialized tools available in the Guild’s
shop will save you time and money.
This includes a Wide Belt Sander, Sliding Table Saw, Horizontal
Mortiser and multi-routers.
- Working Space
and Storage– Have a project but
no space to work? We offer free
bench room use for your project plus on-site storage so you do not have to
cart your project back and forth from home.
- Budget –
We all have limited budgets. Good
tools are expensive and cheap tools are frustrating. The Guild offers free use of high
quality hand tools. Our power tools
are professional grade and will save you time and deliver superb results.
& Advice – Talk shop with other enthusiasts. Drop in during free Bench Room time and
discuss your project and/or problems with other members. Advice you get before and during a
project can be invaluable.

Equipment – Most of us have big-box store budgets with high-end
dreams. The shop is stocked with
high-end professional machines and hand tools for utmost accuracy and time

Our Skills classes teach how to best use these machines. We have priced the classes at below
market rates as a benefit for members to improve their skills.
Maintenance – For you, not us.
Maintaining these machines are a cost we absorb to insure the
machines are operating safely and accurately.
Consumables – Again for you, not us.
Wide Belt Sander belts, planer and jointer blades, drill bits,
router bits etc. We do not charge additional
usage fees for any of the machines.
Accessories – You can never have enough clamps so bring your project
into the shop and use ours or other accessories such as router bits, drill
bits, and other expensive accessories.
- Free Library
– Check out DVDs, magazine or books from our extensive collection.
Bench Room Use – The bench room is available to all members when the
shop is open for shop time.
